When consistently performed and recognized by both partners, small efforts of encouragement tend to build upon one another and result in significant overall growth and happiness in a marriage. Those who have successful, fulfilling marriages tend to focus on each other’s strengths.
Encouragement should be a regular practice for a healthy marriage and family. As a spouse or parent, it’s important to figure out what speaks loudest in your home and make it a consistent part of your home life.
Encouraging your spouse or kids literally places courage in them. Good encouragement will cause its recipient to be filled with courage – imagine what that does for the marriage and the environment within your own home.
To better encourage your spouse it’s important to know what speaks to them most. Take the guesswork out and simply ask your spouse or kids
What are 1 or 2 things I could do or say that would encourage you this week?
